This is a piece about perseverance and lengthiness. How long it will take this planet to forget a species that has caused such excruciating harm to it is entirely unpredictable. However, in the eye of the universe, even a hundred million years is merely a trice. And time will be going on at its constant pace. Sometimes, a process can be neither explicated, nor justified, for it has only one duty: to go on. Trees will grow where concrete fails, flames will blaze where man has reigned, rain will fall where dust has lain. With „Tystnad“, I tried to convey this exact notion.
